Sector Qualification Strategy Annual Action Plan 2008-09
Sector Qualification Strategy Annual Action Plan 2008-09
Following the development and publication of the Sector Qualifications Strategy produced by MSC (The Management and Leadership Learning and Qualifications Strategy), a high level Action Plan has been developed by MSC following consultation with a number of key qualifications stakeholders.
The Action Plan can be downloaded from the right hand side of this page and provides information on what MSC are aiming to achieve in 2008-09.
The report covers planned actions across the UK, but also highlights key issues facing each nation within the UK. The report is intended to be a living document, meaning its contents can change should the sector’s requirements change or should MSC discover any key challenges not included within the report.
All Sector Skills Councils and Standards Setting Bodies such as MSC will be required to produce Action Plans for their sectors, with overall direction for the project being supplied by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES). Further details of the work of UKCES can be found on their website (www.ukces.org.uk)
For further information about the strategy and how you can become involved please contact Matthew Street, the Research and Policy Officer for the Management Standards Centre (matthew.street@managers.org.uk).
